Entrepreneural spirit
I have often heard my peers, friends, relatives and acquaintances talk of wanting to be rich and succesful. Many even have the capabilities to thrive and excel beyond the mean level. However, for some odd reason they end up lacking the motivation to follow through. I can much relate to this because I too at times feel dread in my feet when it comes to persuing something even though every part of my body tells me the idea is profitable.
Despite this I have always had an entrepreneural spirit. I have always tried to make money out of basically nothing. My parents did not want to spoil me growing up and due to that my siblings and I did not get much pocket money. I therefore had to use other means to get the amount of money I desired. I'm glad they brought me up the way they did because it has definitely made me tougher.
I have had to sit down and write down my weaknesses one by one. Naturally, I had to take my strengths into account as well. What I came to discover is that I did not lack any entrepreneural ideas, it is more the fact that I have an abundance of it! So like my main topics for this blog I've had to break down the ideas and focus on a few. While brainstorming I kept reverting back to a few specific thoughts.
At the time of my brainstorming I was watching the movie pretty woman. I love this movie for its story. Richard Gere plays this ruthless succesful businessman that could basically buy everything he wanted. He became very succesful despite his dad abundaning him and his mum at a young age. In fact it was due to this that he got angry and very motivated to become succesful. Ironically he built his empire on the backs of destroying other companies, starting with that of his father. I like Richard's character because he struggled inwardly with what he had become and eventually realised that he could be succesful and build something up at the same time.
There was something that kept bothering me while I was brainstorming. I kept trying to come up with all kinds of fancy ideas and great methods of starting up something new. Then I remembered this performance by an actor once on stage. He had no props, no backdrop, nothing! And then he started acting, staying in his role with just the bare minimum. The story was simple, but it was his acting that was magnificent! In an instant I was caught up in the story and all of a sudden the whole stage came to life in my head. I think that was the best performance ever!
What I am getting at is that through this blog and with your help I am going to try and continue my endeaviours. I'm going to try and let my plans come to life through simply stipulating everything through this wondrous thing called internet and I am going to try and keep it simple. My motivation is simple: they are the interests I have stipulated in my introduction. I am at the forefront of something new in my life. Out of experience I know that people like to be part of something from the start. Would you be so kind as to be part of my trip?
